Voluntary Job Vacancies

We have a number of areas across church where there are opportunities for serving and volunteering. This is not an exhaustive list but are some of the main areas where there is help needed.

Mid – Week Posts
– Jubilatte – Barista/server – Take orders, make drinks, serve cakes, bring hot food to tables
– Jubilatte – Steward – Be present as an extra person for security purposes, be prepared to get help if needed
– Jubilatte – Chef/cook – Prepare meals, cook hot food ** Must have Food Hygiene certificate
– Jubilatte – Outreach worker – Evangelise, inside and on high street – un-intrusively, inline with church
– Church – Cleaner – Hoovering, sweeping, etc. 
– Church – Food bank stock supervisor – manage food and prepare bags
– Church – Food bank customer service – checking credentials and handing out food bags
– All – Hall lettings supervisor – Check that rooms have been left clean and tidy after room lettings. Help to set up for church activities, including a Sunday service.
– All – Social media writer – Publish content on social media. Liaise with other volunteers/staff for content

Sunday morning posts
– Church – Tech assistant – Work with tech team to learn about entire AV setup (leading to covering all areas like CM/MT)
– Church – Sound engineer – Join sound rota 
– Church – Live stream mixer – Join streaming rota 
– Church – Camera operator – Point/zoom cameras for stream
– Church – Welcome person – Greet people on entry, offer info flyers, guide to seats if necessary
– Church – Refreshments server – Set up before service, serve drinks after service
– Church – Junior Church supervisor – Help lead Junior Church ** Must have DBS
– Church – Singer/musician – Join music group (discussion and “try out”/practice with Ruth to start with)
